Invasive taskbar

Hello, I don't know if this topic has already been addressed. My apologies if it has; I don't speak English.

I'm experiencing the following problem with Start11 (although with the same settings, it doesn't occur on another computer): the appearance of the taskbar (configured as hidden) is too noticeable and is triggered too "high up" in programs. When working in Photoshop, for example, I can't click the layer creation icon without the computer's taskbar appearing on top; it's hellish! And And Tiles does that too!

Is this issue known? How can I fix it, please? Thanks in advance.

 

PPS: I should point out that there's no problem with Windows 11, which I just installed. Maybe a setting ?

Thanks, but unfortunately it was already checked and it doesn't work.

In fact, the taskbar is hidden, but everything happens as if it were present and invisible; when the mouse enters its field, it activates. Normally, you have to scroll down to the bottom of the screen, but now, as soon as you reach its top location, it's active. As soon as I also enter the Tiles field (also invisible) on the right side of my screen, I get the same behavior at the bottom (where I display the time, etc.).

Have you tried disable it? Also, is this system, touch capable?

Try disable the "One pixel at the edge...." setting.

Please try, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately (important), download latest version available in your account product download page: https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products. Install it, reboot immediately again. Retest it and report back.

Hello. Unfortunately, the problem persists on this machine (on my laptop I don't have this behavior with identical Stardock and Windows settings).

Need few details.

  1. Windows 10 or 11? Also need its full version and OS Build number. Please use Winver.exe.
  2. Start11 full version number.

Its unclear from your response if you were able to try the cleanboot.  The reason it was suggested is that we have not had other reports and you also don't see it on your 2nd PC.  Doing a cleanboot would help eliminate a Windows setting and \ or a 3rd party app.  

Its important to do the clean boot as instructed, under a new Windows Admin account.

If you reset the Start11 settings to default,

..., not changing any of them, can you reproduce it?

Only changing 1 setting at a time, then testing, what setting exactly changes the outcome?

If you can video this, upload it to a cloud drive service and post a shared link to it here, all the better. 

From that, we will see if we can reproduce.

I didn't need to perform the procedure to resolve the problem: I tried changing the setting directly through Windows (which I don't usually do since I ask Start 11 to take over). So I simply requested the taskbar be hidden via the computer's settings. Start 11 managed to hide it (apparently), but it remained invisibly in its place. Now it stays off-screen, and you really have to reach the lower limit to make it reappear.

I don't usually need to do this, but today, on this device, it solved my problem.
